Ruby in color, the wine has a nose with hints of ripe black fruit that give way to hints of smoked meats, spices, and cocoa. Voluminous in the mouth, it evidences ripe fruit with overtones of spices. The good acidity in conjunction with smooth tannins bodes well for good evolution in the bottle.
